Education

I completed my honours undergraduate degree at the University of King's College, where I double majored in the the History of Science and Philosophy. I subsequently studied graduate-level philosophy of economics as a University of Toronto Fellow at the renowned Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology (IHPST). My unique interdisciplinary background has equipped me with excellent quantitative and analytical skills and knowledge, a top-notch background in writing and analysis, and a deep understanding of the humanities.

Experience

I am a dedicated, talented and enthusiastic teacher of bright students with learning differences at one of Toronto's premier progressive schools. I previously guided post-secondary students to academic success as Centennial College's Adaptive Technologist, where I oversaw adaptive technology services for two of the College's four campuses. I am a trained and experienced educator of students with disabilities and learning differences. Outside of my work as a teacher, I offer high-quality private and group tutoring services for youth and adults for a number of standardized tests, particularly the SSAT, SAT, and GMAT. My GMAT credentials are excellent: GMAT 740 (97th Percentile Overall, 47 Verbal - 99th Percentile). My LSAT score is in the same territory (LSAT 174, 99th Percentile). But I'm not just a high scorer - as an experienced English, Humanities, and Math teacher, I know how to effectively and efficiently convey the knowledge and strategies that go into a top scores.

Hobbies

I'm a pretty easy-going guy with a wide range of interests. I love learning and talking about foreign cultures, new developments in science and technology and current affairs. I strongly believe that students should look forward to tutoring sessions rather than dread them, so I work hard to keep my sessions interesting and students engaged.
